Yes, to do so:

  1. Navigate to the Setup tab.
  2. Under the 'Main function settings' heading, turn off the switch for Private messaging. The same can be done to toggle any other options under this heading.
  3. If you would also like to disable system emails: Choose 'system email settings' in the lower right menu.
  4. Turn the switch for 'System emails on/off' to off.
  5. If you would like to disable system emails per attendee: Navigate to the Attendees tab.
  6. Click 'Edit' under the name of the attendee you wish to disable system emails for.
  7. On the right turn the switch off under 'Email alerts for [attendee name]'.


Even while private messaging or system emails are set to off, previously sent emails and messages are still visible to applicable users. The system emailer will also still send password-related emails to attendees while the system emailer is set to off.
